Our inspiring instructors set us apart. They all have fitness expertise as well as martial arts training – improving your form and technique. They will help you achieve your goals and build real world self-defense skills – something you can’t do on a treadmill.
Your core will strengthen, your arms will tone, and the inches will melt away.

You’ll find out that the fitness classes at the United Martial Arts Center are as vigorous as they are rewarding. You’ll have fun, boost your confidence, and emerge with the rippled, beautiful body of an athlete. You have a new body, and it’s ready for anything.

COMBATFIT

CombatFit is a complete fitness system that takes you through a total body workout focused on optimizing your endurance, strength, power and core stability. CombatFit was specifically designed so an individual can customize their workout by adjusting their intensity. This program was developed to cater to all people regardless of their fitness level. The CombatFit program gets you results in just 30 minutes. The program achieves this by what is know as interval training. The five, 5-Minute Round System allows you to train at the highest intensity level your current level of fitness will allow. You’ll utilize a CombatFit Personal Training Bag in each class, which will allow you to get the maximum amount of results in the least amount of time! Each CombatFit round is broken up into the following categories:

  • Round #1 – Warm Up
  • Round #2 – Upper Body
  • Round #3 – Lower Body
  • Round #4 – Combo Round
  • Round #5 – Cool Down/Core

You may not have to go into combat, but you can get your body looking and feeling in CombatFit shape!

FITNESS KICKBOXING

Challenge yourself while your body and psyche reach new heights in UMAC’s infamous Fitness Kickboxing classes. You’ll enjoy high-intensity drills along with strength-building moves and even flexibility improvement while burning 300-600 calories per workout. Get lean & mean with this full body workout, which incorporates a broad range of punches, kicks, and athletic drills. You’ll also improve your physical self-defense skills by learning the right way to throw jabs, hooks, uppercuts and kicks. Newcomers are always welcome. Training like this will physically prepare you for whatever punches life throws your way!

BOOTCAMP

The Bootcamp classes at UMAC are built on three fundamentals of training: cardio, strength, and agility. Bootcamp workouts utilize a few pieces of equipment, but it’s primarily your body weight that gets you fast results. Build your body from the core out in a high-energy, music filled environment. You’ll do some things solo, some things with a partner, and everything with the team. In addition to the phenomenal results you’ll see from the training, there is a palpable pride you’ll experience as you build a sense of camaraderie with fellow classmates. These classes are more fun, rewarding & intense than any traditional gym workout!
